The German Ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza, has expressed his country's readiness to support the initiatives taken between Tunisia and Libya, which were agreed upon during the Tunisian president's visit to Libya.

Owcza also described what he called the “early welcome” of the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammad Menfi, to the Tunisian president as "encouraging news”, to enable the expansion of Libyan-Tunisian cooperation in the field of trade, training and tourism.

It is noteworthy that the Tunisian president paid a visit to Libya on Wednesday, during which he met with the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammad Menfi, and the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and agreed upon several initiatives to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
