The German ambassador to Libya Oliver Owcza, discussed with the commander of the Western Military Region, Major-General Usama Al-Juwaili and a member of the 5+5 Joint Military Committee, Major-General Ahmed Abu Shahma, the opening of the coastal road and the withdrawal of foreign fighters, as agreed upon under the ceasefire agreement signed in Geneva on October 23, 2020.
Owcza stated through his Twitter account on Tuesday that he had held constructive phone calls with Major-General Al-Juwaili and Major-General Abu Shahma regarding security developments, discussing the urgent need to open the coastal road in order to create confidence and economic prospects.
