United Nations envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame has said that it is most likely to convene a meeting between parties concerned with the crisis in Libya during the first half of this month, in Geneva, Switzerland.

He indicated that the international conference on Libya to be held in the German capital Berlin aims to give international coverage of a possible agreement between the Libyans.

In an interview with AFP, Salame disclosed that the Berlin conference will be held early next year and will involve more countries concerned.

"The road to the international conference on Libya in Berlin is still laden with obstacles and complexities," he said.
