The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), stated that the condition of the electrical network is due to improve, beginning from Saturday.

The company confirmed in a post on its official Facebook page that its crew would continue its work to complete the essential maintenance necessary.

Some of the maintenance work involves the laying of underground cables to transmit power from the Janzour station, feeding the city of Tripoli.

The company published pictures of the ongoing work, along with an official tour for several officials during a field visit to view the final work progress for the maintenance of the initial cables, which are set to contribute to the gradual improvement of the network, according to the GECOL.
