The Chairman of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Abdul Majeed Hamza, met with the Korean Ambassador to Libya, Kim Young-Chae, and the General Director of the Hyundai Corporation on Monday.

The meeting came as part of a series of attempts to attract foreign companies to resume their work in Libya, which would boost the ailing electricity grid in Libya.

The meeting focused on stalled projects in the Gulf of Sirte as well as the western region of Tripoli and Zueitina, which would contribute to resolving the problem of power outages in many Libyan cities.
