An official at Ubari Gas Station confirmed Tuesday, that the operational tests carried out by the engineers of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) have been conducted successfully, noting that the station will probably be ready to go into service in the next few days.

The official explained that the station will cover the southern and western regions, and will increase its production capacity in stages and according to a scheduled plan.

He also predicted that the plant, after its modernization, would contribute to ending the problem of power cuts, in the regions covered by this grid.
