In a statement, Sunday, the NOC said that the processing and linking of the second phase has been successfully completed after connecting Sabratha platform with new producing wells, pushing the production volume up to 380 million cubic feet of gas per day.

It further noted that work will continue to increase the production gradually in order to shift it to its normal range, explaining that the project aims to maintain the rates of gas production in Bahr Essalam field and to ensure stable supply of natural gas for the domestic market, which is crucial for the operation of power and industrial units on a regular basis.
