The Attorney General's Office announced the theft of 11 historical documents written in Aramaic.
Four suspects, who are members of a gang, were arrested while others are still on the run, according to the Attorney General's Office.
The gang is made up of local citizens and foreigners who have deliberately formed the gang to commit the crime of stealing and trafficking in Libyan antiquities.
