A man claiming to be Muammar Gaddafi's adopted son identified to be " Abdullah Moussa", is resisting attempts by Zimbabwean authorities to have him deported to Tripoli, Libya, citing fears for his security, ZWNEWS website reported Tuesday.

The website cited a statement by Zimbabwe's Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi to a human rights committee at parliament that Abdullah refused recently to disembark a plane in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, where he was supposed to board a connecting plane to Libya.

Zimbabwean authorities are facing impediments to verify his identity, who presents himself as the adopted son of Muammar Gaddafi, while lacking any identity to prove it, which denies him the right of asylum in Zimbabwe, according to the minister.
