The fuel crisis committee said it had set up the necessary arrangements with the Ministry of Interior and the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Council's Government, to combat fuel smuggling and ensure its delivery to the southern region.

During a security meeting at the Interior Ministry's HQ, it was agreed to provide protection for fuel stations in the southern region and to identify "deterrent" measures as described, against any security breaches or manipulation of the quantity of fuel, according to the Commission's account on Facebook.
