The head of the Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee, Milad Hajrisi, has stated that the latest fuel crisis in Tripoli is witnessing the beginning of a breakthrough as most of the capital's petrol stations have been filled with sufficient quantities to break the queues. The congestion that has built up should end in less than 24 hours.

Hajrisi answered questions relating to the shortage of diesel supplies saying, “We addressed the National Oil Corporation to increase the quantities of diesel from 10,000 liters to 20,000 liters per day which will be allocated to each station to deal with the diesel fuel crisis”.
