Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar has told French President Emmanuel Macron that conditions to establish a cease-fire around Tripoli have not been fulfilled yet, but it is necessary to resume political dialogue, in order to end the crisis.

The Élysée Palace confirmed that Macron received Haftar in Paris Wednesday, clarifying that the French president called on Haftar to agree to a cease-fire as soon as possible, however, the latter, replied with a question: Who should we negotiate with?
