French NGOs have demanded their government to stop supporting Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar and to halt all forms of engagement with his illegal forces, who are committing massacres against the Libyan people in Tripoli and other cities, as it described.

During a protest held in cooperation with the Libyan community in Europe outside the French Parliament, the organizations demanded Paris to deal with the internationally recognized government, represented in the Government of National Accord.

They also announced the formation of a human rights committee to follow up the situation on the ground, pointing out that the committee is to arrive in Libya in the second half of next month.
