French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian revealed Tuesday, that the French President Emmanuel Macron intends to meet with the so-called Dignity Operation leader, Khalifa Haftar, to urge him to cease fire and resume peace talks, according to Reuters.

French President Emmanuel Macaron called after his meeting with Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, to a cease-fire in the ongoing battle in Tripoli, which broke out 4 April last between the Libyan army and militias of warlord Khalifa Haftar, who aims to take over the capital Tripoli.
