The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced yesterday, the signing of an agreement with the French government to provide support to humanitarian and development projects carried out by international organizations in Libya with a contribution exceeding 800 thousand euros.

The signing ceremony was attended from the French side by its Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who was on a visit to Libya last Monday, while the United Nations was represented by heads of the UNDP, UNICEF, and WHO in Libya, according to the mission's website.
