The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) said it had delivered four freezing chambers to Medical Supply Agency stores in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sabha and Misrata for the storage of Coronavirus vaccines, which have arrived recently in Libya.

The NCDC added in a statement that the dimensions of the freezing rooms are 20 cubic meters, with the ability of reaching temperatures of 20 degrees below zero.

Earlier today, the center announced the launch of the national vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus from the headquarters of the NCDC in Souq Al-Jumaa, with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and the Minister of Health, Ali Al-Zanati taking the initiative and receiving the first vaccines.
