The Founding Committee of Cyrenaica Commission welcomed the liberating of Gharyan city, after more than 80 days of suffering, as it described.

The committee expressed its regret via a statement for all who lost their lives in this war, especially the youth who were used as fuel for personal whims and greed for power.

It also urged the Cyrenaica community to withdraw their sons from what it described -this losing war-, calling on the Government of National Accord (GNA) to ensure good treatment of prisoners and wounded of Cyrenaica sons.

"Some of those involved in this fight are under-aged and deluded persons who were told that this war was for the national interest," the commission stated.
