The Head of the Forza Italia Party, Antonio Tajani, said that the detention of 18 Italian fishermen in Libya by members of military militias in eastern Libya for more than two months is totally unacceptable.
Tajani indicated, in a video clip he posted on his Twitter page, that he had asked the Italian government to focus and put extra pressure on this matter.
He also asked the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, to intervene, saying that the latter did not make enough efforts on the issue.
