The head of the United Nations Support Mission In Libya (UNSMIL) Ghassan Salame discussed with the former President of the High Council of State, Abdul Rahman Sewehli, the latest developments in the political process and preparations for the UN-backed National Conference.
The two sides stressed during their meeting Wednesday in the capital Tripoli, the need to convene the conference at the earliest opportunity.
Salame also met yesterday in Tripoli, a delegation from Misurata Municipal Council and representatives of the city's MP's and HCS members to discuss related themes.
