A meeting grouping officials from the Libyan and Greek foreign ministries took place on Sunday in Tripoli to discuss various prospects of cooperation between the two countries.

Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Mohamed Issa, chaired the session jointly with the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Diplomatic and Consular Affairs, Kostas Fragogiannis.

The session explored areas of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, trade exchange, training, and rehabilitation.

They also reviewed visa procedures as well as proposals to organize a business forum and the possibility of reactivating the Libyan-Greek joint committee, according to the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
