The Foreign Ministry of Presidential Council has issued a circular to all Libyan embassies, missions and consulates abroad to inform them of a statement by the Presidential Council regarding the latest developments at the oil ports.
According to the circular, the Foreign Ministry stated that the measures announced by Khalifa Haftar to hand over the oil ports to an illegal and unrecognized entity are illegitimate.
The circular also said that these actions are a clear attack on the powers of the National Oil Corporation, calling on all Libyan diplomatic missions abroad to forward the statement of the Presidential Council urgently to the competent authorities of the states they are employed in.
