Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Mohamed Al-Qiblawi said that the ministry is continuing to discharge its duties towards the Libyan citizens stranded abroad.

Al-Qiblawi said they are awaiting a decision from the anti-coronavirus supreme committee to act and bring Libyans home.

In a press statement yesterday, he indicated that the ministry has suggested various options to address this issue.

Among the proposals is to conduct checkups and analyses for Libyan travelers before their arrival, hence, those who test positive will be isolated in hotels allocated for housing Covid-19 patients, according to Al-Qiblawi.
