Foreign Minister of the Presidential Council (PC) Mohamed Sayala called on his counterparts of the European Union and the Arab League to grant Libyan financial institutions the right to manage their frozen assets and accounts abroad.

"The PC's government has approved a package of economic reforms to remedy and address the monetary and economic distortions," Sayala said in the ministerial meeting in Brussels, noting that the reforms had begun to show promising results through signs of financial stability and economic recovery, from the start of this year.
