Foreign Minister of the Presidential Council (PC) Mohammed Sayala said that the ministry will start work today from its temporarily new HQ allocated by the PC.

“All important documents are in safe hands. The attack will not dissuade the ministry's staff from serving Libya”, Sayala said at a press conference yesterday.

Sayala called on the international community to respond to Libya's requests for granting exemptions to supply specific weapons that would help in countering terrorism.

Ha also emphasized their intention to continue demand to lift the partial arms embargo imposed on Libya, saying “Security arrangements will not bear fruit without lifting the arms embargo.”
