The Foreign Ministry of Presidential Council has condemned what it described as "inhumane acts” against some African migrants who were allegedly exposed to torture in Libya.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that the Presidential Council issued instructions to investigate any acts of shame that affect the dignity and integrity of African migrants, calling on the security and justice authorities in the country to conduct a prompt investigation in these violations and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Ministry also pointed out that this issue is of great concern to the international community, calling on it to support the Libyan investigative bodies in order to combat transboundary organized crimes, which live on the blood of the weak and the needy.
