The Foreign Minister of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Sayala, held a meeting on Thursday with Ambassador Olof Skoog, Chairman of the Security Council Committee established by Security Council resolution 1970 on Libya at the HQ of the Libyan Mission to the United Nations in New York.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the sanctions system imposed on Libya since 2011.
Skoog expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Libyan government in finding solutions to problems caused by the sanctions, especially in respect to the freezing of assets and Libyan funds abroad.
