The Department of Foreign Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs suspended Monday, the work of Al Arabiya channel on the Libyan territory.
"All permits granted to the correspondents of Al Arabiya channel are considered null and void," the department stated.
The department referred to what it described as the "inappropriate behaviour" by Al Arabiya channel correspondent during the press conference held by the Minister of Interior in Tunis on Sunday, where the channel's reporter pulled the channel's microphone from in front of the minister, after the latter pointed out to the Saudi and UAE role in the bombing of Tripoli.
