The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior held discussions on Tuesday on ways to coordinate and cooperate between the two ministries in relation to the working procedures of both national and international organizations, of which Libya is a member.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mahmoud Tilissi, along with the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mohamed Al-Madaghi, talks were held on the activities of AFRIPOL, the African Police Cooperation Organization, based in Algeria.

AFRIPOL was established under the aegis of the African Union, whose main objective is to establish a framework for strategic police cooperation at all levels between various member states police institutions.
