The bodies of five people have been unearthed in the city of Sirte.

The corpses were exhumed at Sirte beach in the presence of Public Prosecution staff and the Libyan Red Crescent.

It’s believed that the five people were executed by ISIS militants during their control of the city.

The relevant authorities stated that three of the victims wore military clothing and there were signs of gunshots, while the other two bodies were found decapitated.

They also have begun an investigation into the identity of the bodies through DNA.
