The Spokesman for the First Aid and Emergency Service, Osama Ali, said that they have managed to evacuate 10 families stranded in the confrontation zone inside a building south of Tripoli.

"The First Aid Service is operating normally in Tripoli despite the state of emergency declared since Eid al-Adha," Osama Ali clarified in a press statement, pointing out that their teams are working to evacuate families and students wanting to exit the areas of clashes.

He further expressed the hope that calm would prevail in Tripoli and that all parties commit themselves to a ceasefire to bring life back to normal in the capital.
