Fezzan Commission announced on Wednesday an initiative aimed at establishing peace and tranquility in the city of Murzuq.
The initiative calls for, making of Murzuq a neutral city, free of armed manifestations, and the establishment of a judicial commission to investigate and determine the damage, in order to compensate those affected.
"As a neutral intermediary, trusted by both parties; the Ahali and the Tabu, Fezzan Commission will take upon itself the task of supervising the implementation of all the terms of the agreement and is ready to reach out to all parties in order to create a suitable environment for social dialogue," the commission stated.
It also urged the conflicting parties to foster the spirit of civil peace and renounce the language of weapon.
