The Libyan Fatwa House has offered condolences to the families of the murdered reconciliation delegation from Bani Walid, Sheikh Abdullah Nattat and Sheikh Khamis Esbaga, in addition to their two companions, who were killed by gunmen in western Libya on Friday.

The Fatwa House highlighted in a statement the importance of reconciliation among Libyan people, and reminded officials in the country to assume their responsibilities and speak out loud against killings, assassinations and abduction.

It also recommended the Public Prosecutor and security agencies to work tirelessly to identify the perpetrators who seek to destabilize security and stability in the country and those who finance them.
