Three young women entrepreneurs from Benghazi have created an innovative educational application called Panda for distance learning, in light of the school closures mandated by governments in an attempt to slow the spread of Covid-19.

The European Union reported the story of the young women on its website, explaining that the initiative which was supported by the EU aims to bridge the communication gap between schools in Benghazi and parents while enabling students to complete their school year from their homes in a safe environment.
