The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has called on the Security Council to take the necessary measures, in order to ensure the prosecution of those involved in the air attack conducted against a migrant's shelter in Libya.

"The Security Council should call on the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to open an immediate investigation, and identify the country involved in the attack, as a war crime that requires international action against its perpetrators," the organization stated.

It pointed out that the continued silence of the international community is encouraging Haftar and the countries supporting him to continue their violations against civilians.
