The European Union (EU) announced on its website on Tuesday, the provision of 10 million euros in supplementary funding for the new EU Development Programe (UNDP) initiative in Libya, relating to stability, unity and social solidarity in the country.
This provision of funds will support three complementary projects, namely the Libya Stabilization Fund, national reconciliation and local election projects, whilst introducing a new project in prevention of extremism, which is aimed at the most vulnerable communities in need of assistance.
