The European Union (EU) said in a statement Monday that it was prepared to deal with issues of additional sanctions against people opposed to the political agreement in Libya.
The statement added that the EU will remain ready to take into account any requests to impose additional sanctions on the "saboteurs" hindering the political agreement.
It also stressed its efforts to support preparations for the upcoming elections in Libya, through the High National Electoral Commission (HNEC), praising the efforts made by the HNEC in this regard.
