EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini emphasized the EU position that there is no military solution to the crisis in Libya.

This came during a telephone conversation Thursday with the Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, in which they discussed the unfolding situation in Libya and the repercussions of the attack on Tripoli.

Mogherini stressed that the European priority is to cease fire and resume the political settlement process, reaffirming rejection of the attacks on civilians, according to the PC head Information Office.
