The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turky would not permit any reckless action in Libya, offering reminders of the humiliating defeat of Khalifa Haftar’s militias, which forced them to retreat from Tripoli.

This came in a speech on Tuesday, in which he stressed that his country’s support for the legitimate Government of National Accord (GNA), aided in the defeat of Haftar militias, who posed a threat to Tripoli.

Erdogan also stated, “We are closely following recent developments taking place, to ensure that no entity will behave recklessly, as we will not permit such actions”.
