The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamid Al Thani, discussed with French President Emmanuel Macron, international and regional developments, including the Libyan issue and methods to preserve its security.

The discussions took place in a telephone call made by Macron with the Qatari leader where they talked about finding a settlement for the crisis and its outcomes, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The agency went on to say that the call included a review of the most important developments in regional and international affairs, however, specifically mentioning the situation in Libya and ways to maintain security and stability in the country.
