The emergency committee formed by the Presidential Council decided to set up a fuel crisis committee, in order to manage and resolve the fuel crisis issue in Tripoli.

The new committee will be tasked to regulate the mechanism of distributing fuel and to ensure 24 hour functioning of all filling stations.

The decision came after the meeting of the emergency committee with officials of fuel distribution companies.

A number of gas stations in the capital have discontinued their services, contributing to the aggravation of the crisis and the emerge of congestions in front of the stations.
