A source close to the High Council of the State (HCS) declared that elections for a new presidency of the council will be held next Sunday.
The source, who preferred to remain unidentified, said that the elections were postponed from the previous date, which was scheduled for March 04.
The elections will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital Tripoli.
The current president of the HCS, Abdulrahman Sewehli, is to run for a third term in office.
