The South Cairo First Instance Court issued a ruling obliging the Libyan government to pay $ 261 million for Gargour family, regarding the issue of a property located in Tripoli, which was confiscated by the state in 1970.

Zakaria Habib Hanna; known as the Gargour family in Libya, filed a lawsuit against the Libyan government in Egypt in 2018, requesting compensation for the family's property and land, confiscated by the Libyan state during the Gaddafi regime.
