Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has considered the opening of the coastal road a good indication of the progress made in the Libyan-Libyan dialogue, saying it enhances the chances of electoral success and puts Libya back on track to restore its stability and eliminate the terrorist threats.

During a joint press conference in Cairo with his Algerian counterpart on Saturday, Shoukry expressed hope that the outcomes of the Libyan political dialogue would lead the country out of its crisis towards holding the general elections and thus leading to an elected government that "expresses the will of the Libyan people."

He reiterated his country's support for the Libyan-Libyan solution that would hopefully lead to stability and help Libyans preserve their unity, sovereignty, and resources.
