A member of the Reconciliation Committee between Misrata and Tawergha, Abulqasem Abu Sheibeh, said that a meeting was held Saturday in the city of Misrata at the senior levels, in addition to the Follow-up Committee, the Central Region Protection Force and the coordination committee of the Local Council of Tawergha.
In a press statement, Abu Sheibeh explained that the meeting was for coordinating the mechanism for the return of the people of Tawergha to their hometown and to communicate with the concerned parties to ensure a safe return.
Earlier, Misrata Military Council, the Council of Elders of Misurata and the Municipal Council, called for the postponement of the return in order to achieve an inclusive political reconciliation between both sides before going forward with the return process.
