The European Union condemned the terrorist attack on the HQ of the Libyan Foreign Ministry in the capital Tripoli Yesterday, which left a number of dead and wounded, in addition to enormous material damage to the building.

The spokeswoman stressed that such attacks against the Libyan sovereign institutions are unacceptable, insisting "perpetrators must be held accountable".

"The Libyan people have suffered enough. They deserve to live in a peaceful, stable and secure country," she said.
