The Education Office in Sabha has postponed the start of second school semester to next Sunday due to the deterioration of the security situation in the city and the location of some schools in the sites of clashes.
Some families have also been displaced and unable to bring their children to school after fleeing the clashes.
The clashes have already led to the deaths and injuries of tens of civilians in addition to the displacement of dozens of families.
It is worth noting that many schools in the country did not resume the study for the second semester due to the strike announced by the General Teachers’ Union to demand an increase in salaries.
