Minister of Education Othman Abdul Jalil called on university employees to end the sit-ins and start work as scheduled, on November 3.
In a letter to the heads of universities, Abdul Jalil expressed his hope that the university presidents will follow up on the employees' enrollment according to the mentioned date, in order to enable students to start their studies at the timeline set.
Last month unions of faculty and staff at universities and higher institutes entered a sit-in, demanding an increase in salaries.
