Radisson Blu Al Mahary Hotel in Tripoli has hosted a workshop joined by Minister of Economy Muhammad Al-Hawij, and the European Union Ambassador to Libya, José Sabadell, to discuss the challenges facing the business and investment environment in Libya.

Al-Hawij stressed the importance of the partnership between Libya and the European Union in all economic, environmental, security, and political fields, as he highlighted Libya’s geographical location and its role in stabilizing the Mediterranean region.

He also outlined the economic ties between Europe and Africa through cooperation and joint investment in traditional and renewable energy, free zones, and transit trade, besides "Green and Blue" tourism.

For his part, the EU diplomat stressed the importance of the EU's cooperation with Libya in improving the business environment and investment climate, saying that Libya's stability is a priority for the bloc.
