The Dutch Ambassador to Libya, Dolf Hogewoning, says that his country's efforts in Libya are focused on supporting the rule of law and human rights and bringing the country to lasting peace and stability.

He praised the role of the Presidential Council (PC) in unifying state institutions and working on the national reconciliation project, according to the PC Media Office.

The ambassador made his comments at a meeting with the PC head Vice President Abdullah Al-Lafi on Tuesday, where they discussed the developments in the Libyan political process and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Al-Lafi praised the relations between the two countries and hoped to enhance permanent cooperation within the framework of mutual respect.
