Chief of Derna security, Yahya Al-Osta Omar, confirmed on Saturday that Dignity Operation forces besieging the city had prevented three fuel trucks from entering the city.

In a press statement, Al-Osta Omar said that the trucks were forced to return to Tobruk after being stopped by pro-Dignity forces at Umm al-Rizm checkpoint, east of the city.

He added that the forces obstructed the trucks on the pretext of not obtaining an entry permit from so-called Omer Mukhtar Operation Room of the Dignity Operation.

Earlier, the forces besieging Derna allowed three fuel trucks to enter the city for the first time since a year and a half.
